The Pima County Superintendent’s Office and Tucson Values Teachers are partnering with CommunityShare to make it easier than ever for educators in Pima County to connect with community partners and bring real-world learning into their learning environments. This collaboration ensures that PreK-12 educators throughout Pima County have access to the CommunityShare platform, a digital space where they can find and connect with local professionals, businesses, and organizations to co-create engaging learning experiences that activate student engagement, curiosity, and learning.

What This Means for Educators and Partners in Pima County:

For Educators:

Create your profile, post project and event ideas, and use the platform to find community members  who serve as guest speakers, mentors, project advisors, and more! Pima County Superintendent’s Office and Tucson Values Teachers staff are available to help educators navigate the platform, find partners, and plan impactful, real-world learning experiences. Staff are also available to visit schools or districts to present on how the platform can enhance teaching and learning.

For Community Partners:
Create your profile on the platform and find opportunities to share your skills, knowledge, and experience with students, whether through mentoring, project-based learning, guest speaking, and more! It’s an opportunity to share your experience with the next generation.

The Pima County School Superintendent’s Office and Tucson Values Teachers are members of CommunityShare’s National Learning Ecosystem Network, a community for leaders in schools, districts and education organizations across the country to learn together and share resources as they implement CommunityShare.
